Artificial Intelligence and the traditional MBA

MBA Market

Particularly in the U.S. business schools are developing their MBA curricula to include a deeper understanding of machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in particular.

Many business schools are adapting their curricula to integrate machine learning into their MBA curricula, writes Business Because. Amongst the new course offers are programming, data science, optimisation, and neural networks. Some schools also offer cross-disciplinary programmes such as MIT Sloan's Leaders in Global Operations, the Fuqua School of Business’ Masters of Quantitative Management, and Stanford's joint MBA and Computer Science MS.

According to the website, MBAs are about to move closer to the role of engineers and data scientists (without replacing them or competing with them) and many schools openly encourage a pathway between the two.
