Online or Distant Learning MBA

Online MBAs don’t force students to attend classes regularly and at one location, neither do they force students to resign their jobs and tuition is much more cost-efficient. On the downside, the benefit of a network of alumni that comes with a standard MBA course is falling short as students only rarely meet classmates in person or not at all. Online students also can’t use university resources, have a quick chat to their professor in between classes or attend a job fair on campus as easily as traditional MBA students.

An online MBA usually consists of 10 to 15 courses and takes an average two to three years to complete. The degree has expanded rapidly and is now offered by plenty of business schools. Amongst them are renowned schools in the U.S. such as Kenan-Flagler Business School, Duke University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Babson College’s F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business, Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and Northeastern University. In Europe IE Business School is one of the more famous schools that offer an online degree.
