Structure & Content
The 18-month, part-time Executive MBA consists of three main phases during which the participants first acquire a solid foundation in general management issues, then build their distinctive edge in one of two focus-areas (technology management and innovation or international management) and develop strategic leadership capabilities. The third phase is integrative in nature, requiring that participants bring together the various dimensions of managing a business and leading people and organizations. This phase includes an international field seminar and a master's thesis based on a practice project. Students complete coursework at the Berlin campus, with two modules outside of Germany. In 2012, the international modules were in Russia and China.
