One-year-MBA

The one-year option – which condenses the MBA programme from two into one year – has proven successful in European countries, but has yet to get established in the US where two-year programmes are the norm. Kellogg is one example for a top-ranked US business school offering a one-year MBA. One-year MBA curriculums are usually build on advanced scientific or technical degrees, strong quantitative skills, and proven leadership abilities as Cornell University states on its website. The US-university for example offers core courses combined with a management practicum, electives, performance learning experiences and an immersion learning option where course and field work in a specific industry or career interest are combined.
